Starting a weblog was inspired by an instructor who challenged all of us to make ourselves popular through making our own blog site. As part of the exercise for our personal blog we had to make sure of our rank and development. With blogging very now then, it really made me wonder how this could be done until our instructions were passed out…Bingo! My reluctance to write about anything else except my pets made stumble upon the theory of niche marketing where a blog specializes in a product and connects to others. As the days passed, the results of the blog stats counter showed me the blogs rank increased slowly but surely. Not knowing how versatile the blog counter was I thought that good content that could stand alone. As I monitored by blogs counter, I found that there were simple adjustments that I could make that would lead to much grater traffic. Eventually my blog reached 48th out of 50 in its category, just enough for me to pass with flying colors. Since my motivation for stepping into the world of blog writing was just for a grade, my page was forgotten and slowly slipped to the 5 thousandth in its category.
Fast forward to the present, I ended up coming back to my site and needed help with saving it from the depths of Google. I ended up going back to my days of blogging and started with what I knew best. This prevailed, and after several blogs my site was back in the running. Now I had to update myself on the newer blog counters.
The first time I sat down and poured over the blog counter tool features blogging had become a commitment. This is a vital tool that can keep you on page one and greatly assist you on the journey to number 1. Every data report that makes it way to me is studied and the necessary changes or enhance experimentally to attract more traffic and in time raise enough PR for me.
Depending on the counter on your blog, the traffic counter will have the IP address identities of those who have visited you page and from where were they able to access your site. Demographics are also broken down by th month giving you a statistic trend.
